Terms of Use

Last updated 23 October 2026

These Terms of Use are the end-user licence agreement (EULA) between you and Valleur Workout Tracker (“Valleur”, “we”, “us”). Valleur is run by the developer named on its App Store listing. By creating an account or using Valleur as a guest, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. They also apply to Valleur Coach (coach.valleur.com.au), our website for trainers. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

Valleur is a place to train and to encourage each other. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You must not post, upload or send anything, or behave in any way, that:

Reporting, blocking and enforcement

These rules apply to everything other people can see: your username, name, bio and profile photo, the photos you add to workouts, the names of your sessions and custom exercises, and your reactions and comments.

Valleur automatically filters objectionable words. You can report a person, a post, a photo or a comment, and block anyone, from their profile, the activity feed or a comment. Blocking someone removes them from your feed, followers and following straight away, deletes the comments between you, stops them seeing anything of yours, and lets us know.

We review every report within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these Terms and remove the people who posted it from Valleur. We may suspend or delete any account that breaks these Terms, with or without notice.

You don’t need an account to complain. If something on Valleur is about you, or you think it’s defamatory or unlawful, email valleurtrack@gmail.com with what it is and why. We’ll review it within 24 hours and tell you what we’ve done.

Who can use Valleur

You must be at least 16 years old to use Valleur. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian. If we learn that someone under 16 has an account, we will delete it.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

Guest accounts exist only on the phone that created them. If you sign out, delete the app or lose the phone, a guest account and its data can’t be recovered. Add an email address, Apple ID or Google account in the app to keep your data.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account & data → Delete account.

Health and safety

Valleur is a training log. It is not medical advice and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Exercise, especially lifting weights, carries a risk of injury.

Talk to a doctor before starting a new training programme, particularly if you have a medical condition, an injury or are pregnant, or if any of the pre-exercise checks shown when you sign up apply to you. Use proper technique, a spotter and safety equipment where appropriate, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. Exercise descriptions and suggestions in the app are general information. You are responsible for your own training decisions.

The ready-made plans and workouts in the app are general information, not tailored to you or your health. Choose ones that suit your experience, start light and build up, and get advice from a doctor, physiotherapist or qualified coach if you have an injury or health condition, or aren’t sure how to do an exercise safely. Body weight and check-ins are for tracking only and aren’t a health assessment.

Your content

You own the content you add to Valleur. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy and display it only to run Valleur: for example, to sync it to your devices and to show it to the people your privacy settings allow. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for legal or safety reasons (for example, a report someone made about content you posted).

You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the right to post it.

Photos you add to workouts must be of you, your training or your gym, and you need the permission of anyone else who appears in them. Don’t post nudity, sexual content, violence, or photos of children. We remove photos that break these Terms, and may remove your account.

Personal trainers and clients

Valleur lets personal trainers follow and program for clients who connect with them. Trainers are independent of Valleur. We don’t employ, vet, certify, supervise or endorse them, and we don’t check their qualifications or insurance. We aren’t responsible for their advice, programmes or services, or for any arrangement or payment between a trainer and a client. Following a trainer’s advice is your choice, and you can ask them to show you their qualifications and insurance.

If you connect with a trainer, you choose what they can do: view your training, or view it and edit your workouts and plans (including adding custom exercises to your account for them). Trainers can do this in the app or on Valleur Coach. You can change this or remove them at any time in the app.

Trainer tools are only for qualified personal trainers. Before you can switch them on, you must accept the trainer declaration in the app. By accepting it, you confirm that, for as long as you use trainer tools: you hold a current fitness qualification recognised in Australia (such as a Certificate IV in Fitness) or an equivalent, and any registration your work requires; you hold current first aid and CPR certificates; and you hold your own professional indemnity and public liability insurance that covers your coaching, including through apps. If any of this stops being true, you must stop using trainer tools.

As a trainer, you are solely responsible for the advice, programmes, feedback and services you give your clients, including checking that each client is fit to train. You must only connect with people who have agreed to be coached by you, use their information only to coach them, keep it confidential, and follow the laws and professional rules that apply to you, including privacy laws. Private notes you keep about a client are deleted when the connection ends.

To the extent the law allows, you are responsible for, and agree to cover, any loss, claim or cost that Valleur incurs because of your coaching, your advice or programmes, or a breach of these Terms or the trainer declaration by you, except to the extent we caused it. We may switch off your trainer tools, or end your connections with clients, if we believe the declaration isn’t true or a client may be at risk.

Gyms, crews, leaderboards and the Strength Score

Most gyms on Valleur are added by members so people can find the gym they train at. A gym marked Official is run on Valleur by the gym business, after we’ve checked it. Other gyms aren’t affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Valleur, and crews aren’t run by gyms. Add only real gyms, using their real name, and give crews names you’d be happy for anyone to see. A new gym stays out of search until enough members who’ve logged a workout have joined it.

Gym businesses: if you apply to make a gym official, you confirm that you own or manage it and are allowed to act for the business, and that what you tell us (including its ABN) is true. You keep ownership of your gym’s name, logo and website, and you let us show them in Valleur, and in our listings and marketing about which gyms are on Valleur, while your gym is official. You can ask us to stop at any time. Owners and managers must only use Valleur’s gym tools to run their gym on Valleur, and must not use anything they see there to contact or market to members outside Valleur. We can remove a gym’s official status, logo, website or staff access if these Terms are broken or we can no longer confirm who runs it. Website links on a gym’s page go to the gym’s own site, which Valleur doesn’t control.

Leaderboards only work if everyone logs honestly. We may hide or remove a gym or crew, take someone off a leaderboard or reset their results if we believe training was made up, or a gym or crew name is fake, spam or offensive. A gym or crew reported by several people is hidden until we review it.

The Strength Score is an estimate for tracking your own progress. It isn’t a measure of health or fitness, and it isn’t advice to lift heavier. Lift within your limits.

The Workout builder and Valleur AI

The Workout builder and Valleur AI put workouts and plans together from what you ask for. They’re general suggestions, not personal training, medical or physiotherapy advice, and they don’t know your health. Check with a doctor or physio before training if you have pain, an injury or a health condition, and stop any exercise that hurts.

Valleur AI is free and has daily limits. It can misunderstand a request, so check what it builds before you train with it. When Valleur’s library doesn’t have an exercise it needs, Valleur AI may describe a new one, which is saved to your library as your own custom exercise, marked “Created by Valleur AI”. Learn it properly before loading it, and skip anything you’re unsure about. We may change, limit or stop Valleur AI at any time.

Changes to Valleur and these Terms

We may change or stop features of Valleur. We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will ask you to agree to the new Terms in the app before you continue.

Disclaimers and liability

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or under any other law that can’t be excluded.

Subject to that, Valleur is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise that it will always be available or error-free, or that your data will never be lost, so keep your own record of anything important.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any injury resulting from exercise you choose to do.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The courts of New South Wales, and the courts that can hear appeals from them, can decide any dispute about them. This doesn’t take away any rights you have under laws that apply to you and can’t be excluded.
